Plaxico Burris WTF!!!

In all my years I have never heard of anyone going to jail for shooting themself! Then here goes Knuckle-head Plaxico goes and shoots himself in the thigh! WTF!!! Ok there has to me more about that somewhere. Leave it to the guys here at the ownersbox to get that info for you!!!

T.O is a Turkey!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving! How about T.O. has been on a Tear these last few days since Tony Romo has been back!!! I am trying to record the show solo this week but it is hard with the turkey stuck in my throat!!!

Changing of the.....Eagle!

Wow! Is the most I can say about what happen to the Eagles on Sunday! I hope you purchased the team picture of the 2008-2009 Eagles because they will not look the same at all next year! I have had Donavan McNabb on my Fantasy team all of this year and he has been in my starting line-up twice. Once because Kurt Warner was on a bye week, and he really didn't do anything for me that week. The other time I figured he would have an easy game against Washington after the Redskins has a rocky beginning! Not only did they lose the game he only threw 196 yards with NO TD's! This is unacceptable for a 10 vet with a good history of going well!

Andy Reid doesn't Get of the hook that easy either. I mean the play calling has been shoddy since that Washington game. I mean going for it 4 downs within 5 yard and STILL DO GET ANY POINTS!!!! That was embarrassing. I was trying to call plays from my chair but instead Reid called another run play up the middle after it didn't work the first 3 times. What is more amazing is that 2 games later in the exact same situation It happened again, 4 downs in the red-zone and no points and of course another loss.

Scott and I were in our pre-show meeting discussing the players and I brought up the match-up with the Eagles and Baltimore. I told him how I felt about the Eagles and especially McNabb poor decisions that I didn't see him doing well in this game, Beyond that I can see him and Andy Reid filling your Philly Cheese-steak order next season! WOW HOW PROPHETIC! The Owners box #1 fan Tiffany on the set and she is a Philly Phanatic that had to interject her objections to that! This is why we are a real show We have to take our heart out of it and just call what we see so that you can have a better chance at taking your game to the next level!

Rough Week

Wow this is one of the toughest weeks to pick players in fantasy! I mean there really wasn't a run-away clear choice on any of these match-ups! Up until now It has been pretty easy for me to select my team but this week for the podcast (ownersbox.blogspot.com) I can usUally find good players and sleepers! This week I like Steve Slayton vs The Browns may be as close to a sure thing as I can call! I mean there are some other but there are risks to take like sink or swim type choices. Do you take TO vs SF, Brandon Marshall or Eddie Royal vs Nnamdi Asomugha (Raiders), which Brett Farve shows up vs TN limping secondary, Williams/Stewart (the carolina boys) vs Atlanta, Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams vs Bill Belichick. u

See you have to really know Fantasy to take those chances and really balls to take that type or Risk/Reward chances! I mean several of those people that I just talked about will have AMAZING games today but some of them will really not get the amount of points you need to move up in your league. Oh yeah what about selected the RIGHT player on the team that will do well. If you pick Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams that get 160 yds with 3 td You will have selected the right team and the right match-up but the WRONG player!!!!

That is why we love this game!

Week 9

This week boy, Scott and I have fun talking about week 9! If you are in the middle of the pack in your league this is what you need! WE have picked strong a few Sleepers that should still be available in your league that will surely bring you some points this week. On Monday I will give you a run down on how we did. How bout dem Cowboys

How Bout Dem Cowboys! I am not going to talk about implosion....Opps I guess I did. This week If you have Cowboys on your team you really may want to pay attention to Sports Center or the Dallas Daily News for the police blotter! With everything that is happening down there Marion Barber would be my only choice. He is certainly going to get carries. With Felix Jones out, Brad Johnson in (did you see last weeks game) he may not be able to get the ball to his wideouts T.O., Roy Williams, or any of the other cats! In Fact with the Dallas Defense putting out Want Ads for DB's I would take Jeff Garcia, Antonio Bryant, Earnest Graham, possibly Joey Galloway (Former Cowboy). I am sure Galloway wants to stick it to the Cowboys since he was not cleared to play last week against the team that drafted him Seattle Seahawks. Let'ts not forget that Brad Johnson was a former Buc. You think Chuckie (Gruden) knows him pretty well?

Week 7

Hey guys it is week 7 and we need  we will be filming tonight for the show!  Sunday, B. Scott and I went to a party right after the Atlanta Falcons Game and players like Jamaal Anderson (DE), Lawyer Milloy (S), and Roddy White (WR), three major contributors to the game, were there and told us how ecstatic they were to have squeaked out a win against the Chicago Bears.  It was Jonathan Babineaux  (DE) 27 Birthday party, What a present for him!
